What is a Direct-To-Film Transfer?
Direct-to-film (DTF) printing is a heat transfer process in which designs are printed on a special film before being transferred to fabric using a heat press. DTF printing differs from direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, which prints directly onto fabric, by utilizing an intermediate film layer.
Is there an order minimum?
No, there is not an order minimum. You can order as few as one to as many as you would like.
Which type of press is recommended?
For best results, we recommend using a heat press machine .
What sizes do you offer?
We offer sizes 2" X 2" to 24" X 30 feet
How durable are the transfers?
Our DTF transfers underwent thorough testing to guarantee durability. After several machine washes, there was minimal impact on feel and no signs of detachment, peeling or cracking with high color retention.
What is the turnaround time for orders?
At Print Press Depot we offer same dayTypically, expedited orders ship within 24 -48 hours.
What is your refund policy?
Notify us of production errors within 7 days for a replacement or refund; photos may be necessary, but returns aren't required before approval.
What artwork file formats do you accept?
Ideally vector file is preferred. We accept file types: .AI, .PDF Accepted files types: .JPG, .PNG. Your artwork should be a minimum of 300 dpi.
Are there artwork & set-up fees?
No. We do not charge art or setup fees when ordering DTF transfers with us.
Simply upload your art and make sure to leave any specific notes for our designers such as:
- Remove white background
- Change image size to 2x4
- Swap the black ink out with blue ink
- Fill gang sheet up with as many 4x4 images as possible
Can I have multiple designs and sizes on one DTF Transfer Gang Sheet?
Yes, you can have multiple designs and sizes on one DTF Transfer Gang Sheet.
Gang sheets offer the ideal solution for printing multiple designs and sizes together conveniently. Our gang sheets are available in various sizes:
- 22 Inches by 2 Feet
- 22 Inches by 5 Feet
- 22 Inches by 10 Feet
- 22 Inches by 15 Feet
- 22 Inches by 20 Feet
To get the most value for your money, select our largest gang sheets for a better price per square inch.
Do you do color matching with Hex Color Codes when ordering DTF Transfers?
We sure do! When you add your art to the DTF Transfers By Size product page, can enter your hex code in our "Notes To Designers", text box.
Can you clean my artwork or remove the background?
Yes. Automatic background removal is a feature of our uploader.
Any special requests, such as remove a background, change the color, etc., can be left in the Notes for our Designers section after you upload your design on our products page.
Should I mirror my artwork when uploading it?
No, please do not need to mirror your artwork when uploading it. Only high resolution or vector files will be accepted.
What is the best size DTF Transfers to fit women's tops?
The best size for a women's tops is a 9" by 9" DTF Transfer.
What is the best size DTF Transfer to fit youth?
The best size DTF Transfer for youth is a 8" by 8" DTF Transfer.
What is the best size DTF Transfer for adult 2XL-5XL tops?
For adult tops sizes S - 5XL, 11" by 11" or larger is recommended.
Adult Small through 2XL: 11" by 11" or larger
Adult 3XL through 5XL: 12" by 14" or larger
What is the best size DTF Transfer for a left or right chest logo?
For a left or right chest logo, we recommend the following sizes:
- Size range: 2.5"-4.5" W, 2.5"-4.5" H
- Average size: 3.5"W x 2"H Adult, 2.5"W x 1.5"H Youth
- Standard placement: Approx. 3" down from the collar's lower edge, centered precisely, or 4-6" from the central line

Can I order my DTF Transfers and UV Stickers in a custom size?
Yes you can. To obtain a custom size for your DTF transfer or sticker. Select the 'Custom Size' option after uploading your artwork. This will allow you to specify your specific dimensions.
How can I order DTF Gang Sheets online?

2.Upload your artwork. Files we accept:

- SVG

Ideally: We prefer vector images (SVG) when uploading DTF Gang Sheets. This file type is the best for image quality and it easily allows us to modify your artwork if necessary.
How can I order DTF Transfers By Size online?
To order DTF Transfers by size online follow these four simple steps to get your artwork uploaded and order placed:
- Upload your designs (any file type works, up to 5GB)
- Leave a detailed note of any tweaks you'd like done to your design (specific sizing, color change, background removed, etc.)
- Select your DTF Transfer size and cut option (pre-cut or rolled)
- Select your quantity. There's no limit on how many DTF Transfers you can order!

What is the cost for DTF Transfers By Size & DTF Gang Sheets?
DTF Transfers By Size pricing is dependant on two things:
- Size of the design
- Quantity of the order

DTF Gang Sheet pricing is solely dependent on the size of the gang sheet you choose. We DO NOT charge extra for the amount of designs on your gang sheet.
Do you charge for each of colors in my design?
No we do not. The price is based solely on size and quantity. You can have as many colors as you'd like in your DTF Transfer designs and the price will remain the same.
Can I pickup my order at your location?
Yes! You can order on-line and pick up at our Los Angeles, CA. location 7 days a week. You can also utilize our Heat Pressing Station to DIY your DTF transfers at our location where our experts can assist you if you need help.
How quickly can I receive my order?
We can process your order same day and you can receive it as quickly as next day.
